ECL Group of Companies Acknowledges the Value of Meet the North

Tom Fredericks, CEO of the ECL Group of Companies believes his company has changed as result of the 2001 'Meet the North Share the Vision Conference'.

Since the 2001 'Meet the North Share the Vision Conference' the ECL Group of Companies also attended the 2001 Prospects North Trade Show held in Yellowknife.

It was from these two functions that we established relations with Greg Nyull President of Shehtah Drilling. In our many conversations with Greg, we discussed our organizations, corporate philosophies and values, our corporate and extended families and what the future may hold for both companies.

Through our relationship with Greg, the ECL Group was introduced to Margaret Gorman, General Manager of Denendeh Development Corporation in Yellowknife. Denendeh Development Corp and ECL Group of Companies then began learning about each other's culture, challenges and opportunities.

During joint meetings in Yellowknife, Fort Simpson and Calgary this past year, we realized the exciting opportunities for the Denendeh Development Corporation and the ECL Group of Companies, should we join in some form of partnership.

Since then, we have formed a limited partnership with Denendeh Development Corporation and have established a new company called Denendeh K'ezhe Ltd. Our expectations are to work together on training initiatives, and develop a work force to advance the services of our new company.

We are a proud example of what can be achieved when enthusiasm and pride combine with good people and achievable plans.
